FRIENDS
I awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and the new. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Our Family ~Our Friends ~ Our Ohana
We have learned to be-family our friends and to be-friend our family.
What sacred contracts have lead to the necessary crossing of our lives and re-union here on Earth? How have we come to BE-COME the champions we are to one another? One word: consciousness.
When we realize that we are to here to serve our respective greater soul evolution, we come to see that all that fits un-neatly is the conspiracy of love that keeps us bonded...and growing, thus shining our lights brighter and brighter.

LIVING IN THE CRADLE OF LOVE
It isn't enough to just accept the Ones we love...we must also cherish them.
Living a life of love is a choice, and to love is to trust. To quote Ghandi, "Where there is love, there is life."
How Is It that We Choose to Live in Love Every Moment?
Well, perhaps, not every moment...we're still works in progress, afterall.
We strive for it though, and every once in a while, we are graced by the presence of a One who exuths love...he or she oozzs love from every atom in their body, and somehow, WE feel safe (!!!).
What does that tell us about the work we need to do - peace starts within and love is a choice.
If we are lucky, we have that "One" whos loves unconditionally (Us and others) in our life. If we have had the fortune to (or the wisdom to recognize) encounter a stranger that loves all, we are luckier still.
Evelyn, while at a kirtan concert on Maui had the fortune of meeting Bhagavan Das (www.BhagavanDas.com). She was standing there waiting to discover what this "kirtan" thing was all about - it was her first time. Out from no where came this man, who lovingly embraced her and chatted with her, albeit for just a few minutes, like they were old friends.
What a great example of love.
Just to contemplate: What if just 1 out of 10,000 people are like that? It would dramatically change our world...
