Where there is love, there is life. ~ Ghandi
Our practice in presence is to live moment by moment, fully participating and actively surrender to what is.
This year comes to an end with reflections on 2007 as we await what is to be discovered in the new year. There is so much to look forward to, and so much to let go of. Arriving in New York City shall be an adventure as leaving our beloved Hawaiian Islands shall require the practice of "non-attachment."
We have been on Oahu for nearly a year, and our God Seed, Cayden Amadeus - born in September, is growing so rapidly!
Living in downtown Honolulu has allowed us to experience the Hawaii's City, perhaps preparing us to return to the Big Apple.
The bliss of marriage continues to be. Pregnancy and child birth has allowed us to continue bonding and learning about one another in profound, spiritual ways: When we are still, we feel what is eternal and have clarity of what is only temporal. For this, we are grateful.
Our intellectual journey to parenthood has been a quick study of much research: learning, taking classes and uncovering what choices work for us as a couple. We have learned so much about ourselves and each other as The Message of who we are continues to reveal itself to us.
We learn about our compatibilities and how to be gentle with one another despite the whirling fast-track that we are on. In the midst of those sleepness nights and weekends when we recover from "making a living" we recharge with the energy of Spirit, of silence, of reading, of going inward and doing nothing just to remember our "life work" - that is, to discover and deliver who we truly are (...and not what we "do" in this life).
Our life, as it shows up for us, in this now moment allows us the privilege to practice patience, tolerance and (most importantly) laughter with each other.
