WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
There is an inter-connectedness in everything and everyone in this world. To see another and recognize yourself in him or her is one of the most profound experiences of growth. For those of us who choose to believe, Eckhart Tolle puts it poignantly, "...Love is the recognition of oneness in the world of duality..."
The basis of our inspiration is in the concept of Oneness. Rather than engaging in battle to separate our differences, we have chosen to allow the thread of humanity bind us - underneath it all (the need to be right, our ego-ic selves, our vain exteriors, our vain foibles and blessed triumphs) we all have the basic same needs and wants.
The scientist in us gives merit to Abraham Maslow (Hierarchy of Needs). But, there is an indescribable "inner knowing" that all of us possess. It is that little voice inside that is our inner compass - it surpasses language, social and cultural upbringing. When we are "off-course" we know it and we use language like "This doesn't feel right" or "My gut tells me so." At the end, our inner source and power touches the tender heart...and for those who do not recognize the power, may feel overwhelmed, be fearful and retreat.
This human "connectedness" is the Divine in all of us, communicating with us to help us help ourselves and others.
Rather than giving in to the fear of vulnerability, we (Cliff and Evelyn) have chosen to open our lives and our hearts. To share what is beautiful and alive is inspiring to us. We hope that spending time on our website and blog will ignite a fire in you...
